Can't you stay away from a mic?

Ummm, yeah, that would be a hard, emphatic NO. Broadcasting or any means by which I can be heard is in my blood. It's my passion. I always said, "You can take the boy out of the studio, but you can't take the studio out of the boy." I think it runs in my family. My grandfather was recording things on an 8mm film camera with a big light pack on his back in the 40s and 50s. I have the camera. He's probably looking down at all of us using iPhones and Androids...saying WTF?
Welcome to my blog. I hope you like it. I love to write. I love to talk. I love to tell stories. I watch the 24-hour Barker Era Price is Right channel on Pluto. When I was three, I didn't watch Sesame Street; I watched daytime gameshows. My bar mitzvah theme was gameshows. Guests sat at tables named after a gameshow (Wheel of Fortune, Password, Jeopardy!, and the like. I can't remember the others. I proposed to my wife during an episode of "Press Your Luck" (the whammy game show). Word from some cousins is that I used to go around asking them the actual retail price of their "living room group" without going over. I'd believe it, but I don't remember it. My three beautiful children, who are now old enough to sniff out my antics from a mile away, used to love when I would ask Alexa to play the Price is Right opening theme as legendary announcers Johnny Olson and Rod Roddy used to call contestants out of the audience at CBS Television City's Studio 33 to "Come on Down!" So yeah, that's the kind of guy behind this mic. I make no apologies. It had to start somewhere.
Anyway, I welcome you. I'd love to hear from you. I have some grand ideas on the horizon, so who knows what you'll see in the future. But remember, when you wake up every day and your elbows don't hit wood, it's a great day! Love you guys.
